This is a musical adaptation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, ratified by the UK in 1991. It grants all children and young people under the age of 17 a comprehensive set of rights.
Sadly, these rights are not universally recognised, even in the UK where we are still not according full rights to refugee children coming to this country seeking asylum.
It will be sung by the children of Knighton School on March 15th, 2.30pm at the school. The children are supported by a small instrumental ensemble and some adults singing the lower parts.
