Over seventy people turned out, equipped with brollies, and sat through the whole performance including rain showers. Dogs were all well-behaved and didn’t try to steal the show!

The cast of local performers had been working hard for weeks, and discovered skills they never knew they had, both as  performers and creators. Aided by a brilliant band of musicians it all went well, despite the weather and occasional glitches.

At the end we were all asked ‘which way will we go?’ Let’s hope that people start thinking seriously about this. The COP26 is coming up, but will the right decisions be made?  If governments don’t sort their acts out then local communities have to take action.

The whole piece was filmed and will be shown on October 2nd as part of Knighton Festival’s day on climate change.
