The Wild Choir is an invitation to experiment with your voice in new ways, and find out how you can use it to create music with others. Each individual operates to her or his strength, and together we can create wonderful rhythms and textures.
If you are used to singing notes and harmonies, this is something a bit different – though nothing is ruled out, including singing notes. And if the thought of having to sing ‘in tune’ worries you, there is no pressure to do so. You just need an open mind and be willing to experiment.
The choir will meet semi-regularly with a view to taking part in a performance later this year – which will include ‘normal’ singing. But no need to decide about that now, just come along and try it out! First session is on Wed 21st Feb in Knighton.
